Women & Child Development

DCVS is playing a pivotal role in the socio-economic empowerment of women and child welfare through numerous programs:

  • Health Camps:

    93 Stri Shakti health camps and 13 health awareness programs supported by the Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

  • Nutrition Support:

    108 nutrition camps aimed at improving child and maternal health

  • Street Children Welfare:

    Implementation of Project SAMPARC in North-East Delhi, in collaboration with the Department of Women & Child Development.

  • Creche Program:

    Successfully ran a crèche under the Rajiv Gandhi Crèche Scheme, ensuring safety and early development of young children.

  • Self-Defence Training:

    In partnership with Delhi Police, 110 women received self-defence training under the Seekho Aur Kamao initiative.

  • Awareness Generation Programmes (AGP):

    11 AGPs conducted for the socio-economic empowerment of underprivileged women in Delhi.
