Individual & Corporate Partnership

Individual & Corporate Partnership

Over the past 35 years, DCVS (Development Council for Voluntary Service) has effectively collaborated with individuals and corporate entities to amplify its impact in community welfare, empowerment, and development. These partnerships have been instrumental in implementing various programs related to healthcare, skill development, women and child welfare, environmental sustainability, and minority upliftment.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Partnerships

DCVS has actively partnered with corporate entities under their CSR initiatives to reach underserved populations with essential services. A prime example includes the MoU with The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., under which 24 health camps were organized across six districts in Maharashtra (Dhule, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, and Gondia). These camps addressed critical health needs such as reproductive health, tuberculosis screening, immunization, and malnutrition.

Similarly, the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) initiative in partnership with Indian Plumbing Sector Skill Council (IPSC) and KBL CSR aimed to certify and upgrade the skills of plumbers already working in the field. Over 300 plumbers received certification through this initiative.

DCVS has also worked with the KVIC (Ministry of MSME) and the Delhi State AIDS Control Society, among others, for various awareness generation and empowerment programs.

Individual Support & Volunteerism

DCVS welcomes individuals and professionals to contribute their time, expertise, or financial resources to various ongoing programs. Whether it’s volunteering in health camps, mentoring youth in skill development centers, assisting in street children rehabilitation programs, or participating in awareness campaigns (AIDS, road safety, anti-tobacco, etc.), individuals have played a vital role in expanding the reach and effectiveness of DCVS’s interventions.

Scope of Partnership

  • Health & Wellness Initiatives (Health camps, Nutrition, WASH, AIDS Awareness)

  • Skill Development & Employment Programs (TECOS, RPL, PMEGP, Seekho Aur Kamao)

  • Women & Child Development (Crèche services, Self-defence training, AGPs)

  • 93+ health camps, 108 nutrition camps, and 100+ legal awareness activities have been successfully conducted.

  • 45 SHGs have been formed, and more than 40 skill-based programs have been conducted.

  • More than 100 programs have been conducted in collaboration with the Delhi Minority Commission alone.
