DCVS has been working for implementation of “Social Mobilization and Institutional Development” (SMID) component, as a resource organization, under DAY- NULM (Deen Dayal Antyodaya National Urban Livelihood Mission), Ministry of Housing & Urban Development, Govt. of India. So far, we have formed 20 SHGs in East, North East and Shahdara Districts of Delhi. A detailed list of the same is available.
We have signed an MoU with The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., for organizing of 24 Health camps, under CSR, in the 6 districts of Maharashtra, India. Project Objectives: To address reproductive health of adolescents by providing appropriate trainings, counselling and services. Check-up for Tuberculosis to identify patients for treatment through supply of medicines. Sustainable Immunization and malnourishment would be addressed. To promote reproductive and child health services in the target areas Target Group: Rural Women, Children, youth and men living in and around in the districts of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, Nasik, Ahmednagar & Dhule in the State of Maharashtra
We are working with the Training & Technical Education Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, for the livelihood training to the community candidates, in the trades of, Information and Communication Technology, Garment making and Beauty & Wellness, in the Shahdara District of Delhi. We have been running the project, for the last 14 years.
The NGO has been working with the KVIC, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, for implementation of its various programmes including PMEGP, in community.
The NGO has been working with the Department of Women & Child Development, Govt. of NCT of Delhi (Child Protection Unit) Delhi, for, convergence plan of action for street children, under the project named as SAMPARC, (A Sustainable Approach for A Multi-Faceted Progress Aimed at Reclaiming Childhood) in north- East Delhi.
We are working with The Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Social Defence Deptt. of Social Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi for Rehabilitation of Persons Engaged in Act of Begging (PEAB), by providing them livelihood training, in North East and Shahdara Districts of Delhi.
We are working for, the plumbers working in the field, for their recognition of prior learning (RPL), in association with Indian Plumbing Sector Skill Council. So far almost 300 candidates have been identified and given the training and the certification.
